heeeyyy
I was missing this place!
how are you guys?
I gotta question
In Brazil, it is very common to have processions, in the middle of the streets, with so many people on it, avenues, streets, are stopped, for the procession to go, even biiiiig avenues
Does it happen in the US?
I mean... Catholic Processions, such as "Procession for the Corpus Christe Day, with the priest holding the Blessed Sacrament on a Monstrance"
And things alike...
Tradiontal and non traditional priests do it,
does it happen in the US? In the Church of the US?
just a curiosity!
hugs,
peace!

Gabe,
Processions DO happen, but they are usually in small towns and are rarely, if ever, publicized. The processions are usually on the feast of "The Body and Blood of Christ" (Corpus Christi). |

Our local Portuguese Church has its annual parade, with marching bands, princesses and such... and no coverage by any media, except the Portuguese language radio station.
So, maybe it is a cultural thing from Portugal. |
